Action Against Hunger
World hunger affects nearly 1 in 11 people, and more than two million children die every year from malnutrition.
It’s a shocking and truly heartbreaking statistic: yet a very real one, for the truth is, the world produces more than enough food to feed everyone, yet 673 million people still go hungry.
Because of this, I’ve chosen to dedicate a portion of my proceeds (from merch sales & my tip jar) to support Action Against Hunger.
Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation working in more than 55 countries to help end world hunger and provide life-saving nutrition to children and families. Their work includes providing emergency food, clean water, and hands-on community programs that support farming, food security, and long-term sustainability.
This cause is deeply personal to me. I was raised by a strong Middle Eastern mother who grew up in Iraq and often shared stories of what life was like during war. At one point, her family went almost five days without food… No one should ever have to experience that fate.
While this is a story from many years ago, hunger is still a living reality for millions today across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and parts of Europe. Many of the regions where Action Against Hunger works to provide support.
